So I was down the other day, just feeling blue. No reason. I blame it on hormones and the weather, but that’s beside the point.
What’s the point?… I hate it, I refuse to give in!
DISCLAIMER: My anti-blues weapons will clearly not solve any real problems, but they may eke a smile out of you. And they ARE effective for the no-reason-unhappies.
The Blues Remedy List:
3- A shower and comfy clothes in bright colors. Being clean always feels better and it’s hard to be grumbly and tearful when wearing neon green, orange, magenta, and turquoise. Not to mention those slippers. Soft warm slippers cannot be underestimated. Cold feet would have made Mother Theresa cranky.
2- Put on the dance music. That’s right. Turn off Adele. I know you love her. So do I. But now is not the time for our good friend Adele. We need total pop nonsense, I’m talking high school homecoming sh*t. Glee baby. And while you’re at it, Linus and Lucy by Vince Guaraldi.
1- This one is absolutely key. Reddit’s “aww” posts. This is the cutest stuff on the internet. Certified. This stuff is defcon 80 cute. My hubs hit me with it, and I was defenseless. My bad mood had no chance. Truth.
